Are Registry
Cleaners SAFE to download and use?
Warning
- not all Registry Cleaners are safe
and effective. We tested 18 Registry Cleaners in a
controlled environment. All of them found errors. Several were confusing
or difficult to understand. A couple of them actually
led to registry corruption! We can recommend only the 5 products below. If you use another product, know that you're taking chances with your PC. We've established an exclusive arrangement with the developers of these products, to offer you a FREE scan with each.
Which is the
best Registry Cleaner?
We found RegCure
to be the best Registry Cleaner we tested out of 18. It's
easy to use, and it found and cleaned ALL of the Windows Registry
errors on our Windows Vista
and XP test computers.
After RegCure,
they ran LIKE NEW. If your
computer is running slow or giving your errors, we suggest you
download and scan with RegCure
immediately.

| I wanted to let you know that our tech
staff at PC Times Magazine ran a similar set of tests, and agree with
your opinion that RegCure is the best registry cleaner overall in
the two most important categories - effectiveness at clearing the
registry of all known errors, and ease of use. In our article we
recommended that PC users run our pick for best registry cleaner -
RegCure - once a month to keep their PCs error-free and running at
top speed. I don't know if you're aware of it, but the FTC is suing one
registry cleaner company for distributing a virus that poses as a
Registry Cleaner - see this link: http://ftc.gov/opa/2008/12/winsoftware.shtm.
Now more than ever it's important to give the public good information
about this type of software. Thanks for your keeping your readers safe
by providing free registry cleaner scans with the best registry
cleaners! Posted by: Gene Berry, editor - PC Times Magazine | February 2, 2009 2:13 PM |
| RegCure found and eliminated
486 problems in my Vista computer. Afterwards, it responded
tremendously, and there are no more errors when I start up my PC.
Clearly this was the best registry cleaner for my PC. Thanks so much! Posted by: Ann Kelvic | January 7, 2009 11:27 AM |
| I was
frustrated with how my new Dell laptop had slowed down after only about
five months. I came across your site, and immediately downloaded
RegCure on your recommendation. It is no exaggeration to say that
my computer and internet surfing now run like new! Yippee! Thanks guys,
for your great reviews on the best registry cleaners! Posted by: Gerry Young | December 12, 2008 10:45 PM |
| My Windows XP box was giving me
errors, and would freeze up all of a sudden - usually right in the
middle of a World of Warcraft game! Then it would take about 10 minutes
to reboot. Grrrrr! I made the mistake of downloading another registry
cleaner, and it seemed like it only made things worse. I ran your free
scan with RegCure. The errors went away after right after I hit
the clean button. Now I run it every couple weeks to keep me gaming
instead of rebooting! It's the best registry cleaner for my money. Posted by: Jimmy Alfree | October 2, 2008 7:16 PM |
| I disagree
that RegCure
is the best registry cleaner. I tried scanning with both RegCure and
Registry Fix. Registry Fix found 3 more errors. So I'd say Registry Fix
is the
best registry cleaner. Posted by: David Sanchez | September 23, 2008 7:32PM |
| I downloaded RegCure on my home computer,
which
seemed like it got slower every day. It sped it up immediately. I'm
recommending RegCure to my IT Department at work as the best
registry cleaner to extend the life of all our corporate computers! Posted by: JoAnn Kleinmuth | August 12, 2008 5:17 PM |
